Pastor Suarez' ministry here at FBC began in 1999, and it is his desire to honor the Lord in all settings through utilizing the gifts that have been given him including preaching, teaching, counseling, and other methods of communicating the life-changing truths of Scripture.  As our senior pastor, he performs the general oversight of our ministries as well as being the primary preacher and teacher of the Word of God.  In his role of shepherd, the pastoral care that he provides to the flock brings much-needed encouragement and comfort to individuals and families alike. 

After Julian graduated from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College of Owatonna, MN, he went on to receive his Master of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary of Plymouth, MN, and his Doctor of Ministry from Bob Jones University of Greenville, SC.

He and his wife, Kathy, have raised a daughter and a son.  Whitney and Zach, graduates of BJU, wed in 2007. Will is in his second year at Northland Baptist Bible College.
